SimHQ Apache Havoc review by Richard "Flexman" Hawley
"Be warned, don't confuse realism with difficulty, Apache
Havoc is not as rich in avionic features like Jane's Combat Simulation
titles, even so, it will still present quite an ego shock to experienced
rotary sim pilots. Add to that the chance to fly some quality CIS
hardware with stonking co-operative campaign play. If knobs and buttons
is all you seek in a helicopter simulation then look elsewhere, but
if you want something that looks good, exercises your high end PC
and provides a long term challenge then this will sit well on your
hard disk."
CombatSim Apache Havoc review by Eric Marlow
"Although my default attack vector is from a hard-core aspect
angle, I realize that most people who play simulations are not of
the hard-core variety. I tend to think that Empire/Razorworks hit
the nail on the head in terms of meeting their intended goals and
delivering a sim that offers a little something for everyone."

GameSpot UK Apache Havoc review by Kenji Takeda
"Apache Havoc is a formidable debut that matches Longbow
2 in every respect, and surpasses it in many. Above all, it manages
to be a delight to fly without becoming over-complicated."

Frugal's World Apache Havoc revisited by William "BBall"
Ball
"Excited by the prospect of Empire Interactive's upcoming
Helo sim Comanche Hokum, BBall decided it was time to take a look
back at their previous offering Apache Havok. The thought of being
able to link this classic sim to Comanche Hokum is pretty exciting.
So does Apache Havok still cut it 1 year on? Here are BBall's thoughts
on the current king of the Helo Hill."
CombatSim Visit to Razorworks feature by Kurt Giesselman
"Blockbuster is certainly a good description of Razorwork’s most
recent combat helicopter simulation, Enemy Engaged Comanche vs. Hokum.
We have had it on the continent for several months and I was fortunate
to be a participant in the closed beta test before its release in Europe.
This hard core flight simulation is just hitting the shelves in the US."
Sim Arena Comanche Hokum review by Chris "Dr. Bones" Von Seggern
"There's an amazing immersiveness to this great sim, something
that just sucks you in until your spouse has packed up and left, the dog
runs away, and the house is on fire. EECH has that quality in spades.
It looks great, the action is intense and unpredictable, and it all fits
together beautifully..."

GameSpot (US) Comanche Hokum review by Bruce Geryk
Of all the helicopter simulations released this year, Razorworks'
product is in a class by itself, and it will certainly earn itself a place
on the ballot when the best-sim-of-the-year nominations come around. For
the past three years, fans of hard-core simulations have wished for a
helicopter sim to exceed the impossibly high standard set by Longbow 2,
and Enemy Engaged is the worthiest candidate yet.

"… Does that mean it's stolen the title of "Holy Grail of Combat Helicopter
Simulation"? You be the judge, I'll just say that it will be on this yahoo's
hard drive for a very, very long time."
DOGFIGHTER Comanche Hokum review by Dusty "Redwolf" Rhodes
"If you are waiting to see what is said about this sim before
you spend your hard earned dollars, wait no longer! Jet simmers, I give
you fair warning: if you buy this sim you stand the chance of becoming
a rotor head! You will simply not find a more comprehensive and easy to
play flight sim on the market that works right out of the box. Incredible
attention to detail, backwards compatibility with EEAH to give a total
of six completely dynamic campaigns and numerous skirmeshes/mini-campaigns
with four gunships makes this title a most serious contender for sim of
the year. Is this what Longbow 3 might have been like? I think so, if
not better!"

GamesDomain (UK) Comanche Hokum review by James W. Hunt
"For the helicopter fan, I simply cannot recommend this title
enough. Razorworks deserves every bit of the strong praise and sales figures
they have received thus far. I hope its popularity will continue to grow
once it reaches worldwide distribution - since that's the only way we're
going to continue to see titles of such startling quality in the current
market of uninspired simulation designs. If you have a buddy who is into
simulations, too, get him the game as well and enjoy the multiplayer together."

GameSpot UK Comanche Hokum review by Kenji Takeda
"What sets Comanche Hokum apart from the competition is the organic
feel of the missions embedded in the dynamic campaign. The smaller skirmish
maps provide a quick fix and can be played out in an hour or two, and
are more efficient for multiplayer games. For owners of Apache Havoc,
this is a must-have as it seamlessly links the two games, allowing you
to fly all four helicopters in the campaigns."

SimHQ Comanche Hokum review by Richard "Flexman" Hawley
"Rotor fans unite. Fly this sim. Play it. Eat it. Savor every
byte. With a possible of 6 campaigns in total, there is enormous replay
value here. Working multiplayer capability is the icing on the cake."
CombatSim Comanche Hokum review by Kurt "Froglips" Giesselman and

"Over all this is with out a doubt the best helo sim out there.
Razorworks and Empire have done a very good job of releasing a very stable
sim with very few bugs."
"I have no problem telling anyone who is into virtual flying
to rush out and get a copy of EECH."
Dogfight.com Comanche Hokum review by David "Spawnbob" Renton

all of you."

Bobulous Central Comanche Hokum review by Bobulous
"First, a warning: I'm normally a 3D action-shooter game fan,
so my review of this game is set against almost zero knowledge of the
serious simulation genre. So any hardcore simulation veterans might disagree
entirely with my opinion. Therefore, this review is for frag-heads who
also understand that realism is good sometimes."
"The gameplay and phsyics are superb. Playing campaigns is rewarding
because of the importance of your role and the effect you have on the
big picture."
"A complex game but one that people new to simulations should
have no problem getting started with. Exciting enough to entertain fans
of deathmatch. An excellent game with no serious flaws."
SPANK! Comanche Hokum review by 8Ace
"Verdict: This game has amazing depth - In fact I haven't really
done more than scratch the surface, but what I've found will ensure that
I keep coming back. Some hardened flight sim players might question my
judgement considering my lack of experience, but let me put it like this
- you don't need to have another FPS to realise that Half-Life is pretty
special. Enemy Engaged is the Half-Life of the helicopter gunship simulation
- there can be no higher accolade."

"As the most detailed and technically correct and, not to mention,
the best of the three current offerings for combat helicopter junkies,
the combat helo land has been abuzz about this title for months."
